155 mph.... back straight at road atlanta in a Carrera with a Porsche Driving Experience Instructor .... for FREE! We did 2 full laps while racing other instructors, including the legendary Hurley Haywood.
( My college car club used to volunteer with PDE... nothing like getting to jockey around 30 brand new 996's at Road Atlanta... ahh, i miss the good ole days)
other than that... 110 in my 1GN, 120 in a '78 924. * Both on closed roads.

About 85-90 in the neon--but i've only had it since October so I haven't gotten the chance to "testing" it.
Around 120 in a friend's Mustang. It was like 5am in the middle of nowhere on that highway.

130-135 in my '92 Taurus SHO. Surprisingly, even at 120k miles it was still smooth as glass. Slowing down, however, took a lonnnng time. Haven't driven anywhere near that fast since I got rid of that car.

81.66 mph. (At the strip.)
There aren't any places around here that are safe for speeds higher than that. Other than that, it's definitely not worth losing my license over going faster on the street.

Rt. 11? Maybe your part of 11 isn't as straight and deserted as mine is. My buddy claimed his brother took his C5 vette up to 160 down on 11.

My cousin did that this past summer (only a couple of days left of it

) He said it was quite a rush. It was a gift from his wife. It's gotta be awesome going that fast.

It's plenty straight but the surface blows ass. State Patrol camps this area like crazy, too... Like I said, not worth losing the license over, either... Maybe if I ever get ballsy, Lake Road (Rt. 531) is pretty straight and smooth.
