Hello from Johnson, VT

Hey everyone! The name's Jeff. I'm a college student at the Community College of Vermont (soon to be going to Vermont Tech) and have had my 2001 Neon SE for about oooooh 3 years now. It was a hand down from my sister and at first all I ever wanted to do was trade it in. But now, all I can ever see myself driving is a Neon. I love the car to death and she's been through hell and back with me just recently hitting 101K. I've been planning lately to do some work to her - some engine mods and some light exterior things. The process will be slow seeing as pay checks are few and far between but I plan on getting it done. I hope that all of you can help me through my plans and that maybe I can help in return.

Hey welcome. Where abouts in Vermont is Johnson? East near NH, West more toward Burlington, South more near Manchester?

Ummm...it's northeast of Burlington, basically in upstate Vermont

- if that helps at all.

It's a really small town (one of those one street kind of places) lots of nice country back roads though.

What options do I enjoy? Well in literal terms I DID enjoy my cruise control until it suddenly quit. I love my AC and I just love the overall look of the neon. Even though it's not a FAST car it gets up and goes where I need it to and it's been VERY reliable for me.

Welcome! Glad to hear that you are enjoying the car. With some minor upgrades our cars can be very rewarding vehicles.

Yeah my old headlights were completely fogged up and my passenger one was broken and barely hanging in the frame. They look a lot better now.

Cool. Yeah I think the closest Vermont towns from me are small towns by the name of Poultney and Fair Haven

Welcome!! Don't worry about the car "not being a looker". Not EVERY car on here has to be a show queen... then we'd be boring! I say build it and keep it looking that way! The looks on the faces of those you'll whiz by will be even MORE priceless lmao!!
