My maybe-Spring project. Do you like?

So last winter I got in a little fender bender...or hood bender after hitting a patch of ice and bumping into a Chevy Tracker.

Anyways, that was a year ago and I JUST got my new hood (I know I'm a slacker). Only problem is that it is silver and if I want to buy a new bumper cover (which will probably also be the wrong color) I might as well just paint the whole car. So I think I'll make that the beginning of my project. I took a picture of the car and edited it to show what I'm going for. I'm going for a clean look in maybe Electric Blue. What do you guys think? Should I do it??

Those rims are 'Sport Editions' on tire rack. I'm thinking 16's. I might also go for a SXT spoiler. I've also deleted the door strip and dodge logo. Suggestions? Comments?

I say sure. But you need some kind of a lip kit. But an electric blue 01 would be interesting to see.

i wanted to electric blue my r/t at one point...with bronze wheels.

Yeah I saw a 1st gen with bronze. I kind of liked them. Don't know if I could live with them on my car.

I like the idea so far, but I agree with either getting a lip kit or get a drop to eliminate the wheel gap.

By the way, we have the same Steel Blue car and I have some bronze rims on my signature.

yeah def put an eibach pro kit on there or something comparable. I too have put rims and exterior upgrades on my car but the wheel gap looks horrible and I need to lower it somehow.

I noticed awhile back that you had a steel blue before I became a member. It made me want to keep the original color at first but after getting the new hood and the soon to be bumper cover and lip I decided to go for something different. I like your rims, but do you think they would work on an electric blue?

Yeah I was thinking about getting it lowered but at the moment that's near the bottom of my list of thing to get this car back to good shape.

I say go for it... only thing I would change is the front bumper... I always hated how the 00-01 bumper look like even when I had it on... throw a 02 bumper on it instead...

Blue is my favorite too. I can't wait till spring now.

And I'm seriously considering the '02 grille/bumper now. It seems to be less...toothless grin looking.

Also, does anyone know where I could get some eyelids? Do they even make any for a 2001?
