Does anyone feel the way i do????

So im posting this outta annoyance and pretty much frustration of another neon driver. I live in a fairly small town and every time I ever drive into town to get something or do something I see this kid. He can't be older than 16 or 17. No lie he is there hours on end just driving and driving. Revving his fart cannon, peeling out of parking lots, following other nice cars. I remember him looking at my car in a local car show this summer and saying "man i gotta start doing stuff to my neon" This I respect but dont do stupid posing shit. He drives around with two beat up mid 90's civics all day, and one of them blew their engine in the middle of town screwing around the other day. I feel like people like this are posers, immature, and really give the car a bad name. I feel embarrassed to drive my neon when I see stupid shit like this. I never acknowledge the guy or talk to him but every once in a while he will rev at me or follow me for no reason what so ever. I dont know. It could be he is just a young kid being stupid. He has like stickers with his name on the back with a number. aftermarket rims on the back and stock steelies on the front. I think that is a 2000 es or something. I feel like pulling up next to him and just shitting on him with my car but I never screw around with anyone under 18. I like my neon quite a bit but stuff like this makes me wanna just get another car so im not so called "associated"

what do others think??

Its pretty hard to give neons any worse of a bad name.

I mean I purchased a vehicle that looks like a smiling chevron car toy, at this point I have no shame.

Around here any "kid" who has anything done to their car is just looked down on regardless of what they do. I hate to "toot my own horn" so to speak but I am a better driver than many of the people I see on the road (I can read and then follow the signs, its a big problem for most) A lot of that attitude comes from people like the OP, how is your car better than mine(other than it being a silver acr). Think back to when you were that age if you were into cars you had very limited resources to do stuff no? The thing is that back then it was all about actual performance not these "I've big wheels and a big exhaust it must be a race car" people of the F&F generation.

i got one of those down here who has a wrx sti and my VR4 shit all over him and haven't seen him around for about a week. i hope he is getting somethig worth while so i can do it again!

i guess that most of us may have acted slightly immature like this when younger but I def was not as big of a poser as this kid is. Im actually on my way to town right now to bring back a movie i rented. haha. ill let ya know if i see him.

I just drive my car to get from point A to B.

I don't pay any attention to the personalities inside the car or their antics. They act the way they want which is not my business nor do I engage them.

I DO pay attention to the cars on the road and engage in defensive driving so I get from point A to B safely and legally.

Embarrassed to drive your Neon? I cannot quite figure that... in the area I live there are a LOT of Neons driven by all kinds of folks most of whom seem much like me in that they are more interested in getting from point A to B rather than this other nonsense.

Try owning an SRT.... You have people like myself that have built MS 1st gen neons, and now I get associated with people who roll an SRT and act like complete d bags. Only takes one douche to give a whole group of car owners a bad name. Just take it and move on, otherwise you'll be switching cars every few months

Knights got a good point cause here at stockton we got a couple of jackass kids who do stupid shit in the parking lot so the cops are paying more attention to anyone with a nice car. but asides he is going to give us a bad name. the kid is probable a noobie and his parents just got him the car.

That i did. He didn't bother me this time thankfully. In the process I did end up seeing a pretty nice prelude i will admit.
