Heater tubes, which in and out?

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

Heater tubes, which in and out?

Post by dodgeneonzl » Fri Nov 07, 2008 3:19 pm

So, i finally got to getting the after market temp sensor out from the T with the oem temp sensor because it's throwing a code. So, i'm planning on what occasional daemon said... which is to tap into the heater hose, but does anyone know which is the hot side and the cool side? So that i can get an accurate reading from it. Thanks!

The hose coming from the head should be the "hot" side.
