Looks good man. The only thing I'm not to keen on is the visible grills on the rear deck. IMHO it draws alot of attention to the car. I had the rear window of my Blazer kicked in all because I had a JL Audio sticker on it. Thieves just see that kinda stuff and think they just hit the big bucks. Do you plan on tinting it at all?

my speaker cutouts do not work at all

mainly i think because my rear deck has the child seat things......... but even with those not quite in the way (but probably are still in the way) the rear deck still sits like 1 1/2" above the speakers.. NO WAY to push it down to get the grills on..

now ive got a rear deck with some holes cut in it.. looks FUCKED!

though the speakers DO sound a little bit better regardless :p

i might try to just tape the grills onto the carpet to at least cover up the holes.. but i dont think it will stay on with tape
What kind of speaker covers are they? do they just snap down or are do they use the same screws as the speakers do? Did they come with the speakers?

Mine came with longer screws than stock so that gave me the extra inch to get to the hole, maybe you just need some longer screws.

Contaigious18,

Nope they aren't connected to an amp, I don't think I will be buying one for the speakers.

Chris04sxt,

Sometime this year I hope to get the car tinted, all around. They aren't too noticeable from the outside, only unless you get within 5ft of the car can you actually see them.

Maybe that style won't work on our cars unless you make some sort of spacers for the speaker and get some longer screws.
I didn't know that they had snap on speaker grilles I though that they all screwed on.

Jetas,

I am thinking about on day getting an Infinity Basslink II. which is an amplified subwoofer all in one box. You can buy an expansion bay for it that slides right inside of it and has 60 watts rms to 4 speakers. My rears over power the fronts right now so much that even with my fader up +2 to the front you can still notice where most of the sound is coming from.
