My new toy

My Neon (here's a link) was almost perfect and a show winner - time for a new toy!

Almost stock SRT-4 with KW coilovers, 18's, K&N airbox, new engine, LED taillights, clear 3rd breaklight, racoons, 3" exhaust. Have a lot ideas for the interior. And i have stage 1 computer, stage 2 wastegate, boost control sitting around - wanna install it in spring after a long enough break-in...

im gonna take a guess and say those are some sort of police lights to scare someone behind you when they get too close.lol.

good luck getting that Stage 2 WGA to work correctly. I didn't have good luck with it.

the lights on the bumper are the rear fogs.

At least i think they are... not sure what counties require them.

Yes, you guessed right:
In Germany we need a rear foglight + orange blinkers.
So i have orange bulbs in the taillights and therefore an extra reverse light.

Plans?
1. removing this ugly extra lights and replace with smaller and more decent lights
2. new stereo (9" TFT, DVD, flip down roof screen, subwoofer)
3. leather seats (professional seat covers)
4. seat heater
5. black a-b-c pillars, headliner
6. something with the dashboard
7. stage one
8. CF radiator shrout
...

Every second VW is trying a race and everytime i have a big grin in the face when i see they're faces after i stepped on gas...

(You remember the scene in Fast & Furious II when the Eclipse is running against the '70 Challenger R/T? "Your mouth is bigger than your engine...")

its like everyones getting an srt-4.

but everytime i think about buying one i tell my self id rather just do a engien swap instead of owing 15k or more for a srt-4.

There is always the reverse blinker mod. Unless you can't get orange bulbs for the revese lights that are in those housings.

The stock bulbs in the taillights reverse reflector are now painted orange and rewired as turn signal...
And the reverse is now sitting under the bumper...

There are some deals out there man...way cheaper than 15k.

S2 WGA worked fine on my car, i think the vacuum line issues you had were to blame..

I also thought about a swap (my Neon was 100% bad ass!) - but it is expensive, a pain in the ass and (in Germany) very complicated to get it through inspection.
So i calculated and calculated - and selled the Neon to buy a SRT...
