I always wanted something that was truly mine, my own creation and design. Something that embodied great aesthetics inside and out, while still cranking out horses. I wanted an award winning, jaw dropping car....that I designed. And I'm getting closer and closer to achieving my goal. I love the compliments and the stares, it means that much more when you put it together. People asking to take pictures of it, and of me and them with it. It was weird at first, but now the gratitude is amazing. I love it.

I love my car, I love cars...its a passion, its a hobby, its my life.

For me it is taking something decent and making it into what I want. I enjoy working on cars and have a serious issue with tinkering. (Just ask my wife.) I don't think I have ever owned a vehicle without doing some sort of modifications to it.

I also like having something different than what everyone else has. I HATE going somewhere and seeing 3 other cars that look just like what we have. (Like when the wife had her Dodge Grand Caravan. You see silver SXT Caravan's EVERYWHERE!!!)

The 2 vehicles I have now are nothing incredibly special, but they are mine and there isn't any others around locally that look anything like them. :D

I have a Deep Amethyst Pearl 2000 Neon (don't see that color much anymore) that has been lowered, wheels, exhaust, etc., blah, blah, blah.

My other car is a 2004 PT Cruiser Dream Cruiser 3 #1132 of 1309 ever produced! (It is also a VERY rare 5-speed. I have read as few as 250 DC3's had manual trannys) I have all kinds of plans for this one, but I hate to get too crazy with it since it is a pretty rare car.

Now don't get me wrong, if I had more money than sense.........ok let me rephrase that... .....if I had lots of money, I would buy something nicer that a Neon and a PT, but you may as well enjoy what you got and try to make it yours and yours only.

i can thank my grandfather for introducing me to cars. i took that road which lead me to modifiying and the whole nine yards. so yea, been a car person since a very young age and i always will. i'd say it was a hobby, but at this point i'm sure it is more of a lifestyle. it's just in my blood.

my creativity and desire drives my passion. i have to tinker, create, and push the limits. it's just what i do.

ill hafta say i just LOVE standing out and being different when driving in a non-ricey way b/c ppl do look :) ...and i love the fact that this is like my first big thing that ive actually bought and pay bills for all myself...makes me appreciate it like 487584357843 times more lol...i also think its cool how ppl r just like o its just another neon lol...but its a rare model acr and modded and only certain ppl...mainly neon ppl lol know that. fuck what the rest of the haters say! haha. i havent even been into cars a year yet but im like obsessed. most of my friends think im crazy how clean and what i spend on it...tho most of my money currently is going to keeping it running good and clean. mods will hopefully start this spring when i get some tax money back and start working again hehe. its so relaxing and interesting the more i work on it the more i learn...seeing as i learn by doing this is like awesome for me

and when my mom tells me wow u spend too much time and money on that car i just say hey at least im not spending that money on drugs and all sorts of alcohol and getting into trouble with that :slap:

i love cars :D

actually, shit son, my riced out neon picked up my current girlfriend 2 years ago. With it's razzi kit, stereo basting, underbodies bouncing to the music, she was impressed.

when i got my neon it was identical to two others on my block, and about 14 others in my town (same color, rims etc) so i wanted to seperate mine from the bunch, and i think ive accomplished that
i just like making it "mine" and doing things that i like and appreciate to it
although bitches love the neons

we mod our cars to make them look nice and make them have more value to us than when we bought them. our cars mean something to us like alot of other things and if those other things arent happy or satisfied neither are we,but when we make them happy we are happy and whne you look back on all the stuff you did to your car you want to be like "damn i modded that car " and stories that come with modding are the best, but we mod for the sole purpose of making us happy and making the car more valueable to us...

I mod my car because I am indvidual and a OEM neon does not fully suit me. Idc about speed or putting down 400 whp just tweaks and changes to better suit me.
