Man you're over here too? Sell me one of those shortblocks when you're done, haha. Actually I just need the outside casing, none of the internals, but I might have sourced one from that guy you mentioned on Craigslist. With any luck my SRT-4 will be rolling again in two weeks... let me know if you're looking for any random info or background on the SRT-4's, I've had two and I'm no mechanic but I have had to deal with my fair share of BS and figure it out. =]

Yeah, I know this car a bit too well now.

But that's what happens when you build it assemble every godamn inch of the motor and put it all back together several times.

(Forgot to take pics of the motor IN haha)

Werd, I think I saw one in the FS section. Its a really nice belt and costs almost the same as OEM.

Are the T-belts the same between the 2.0 and the 2.4?? Something to look into. Glad to see you finally got everything back together hun. Looks good, now get more pictures!!!!

BTW Did you get a radio yet?

Well i crashed my slow ass n/a neon while texting and fiddling with the indash (although that did give me the money to buy the SRT) so i'm sure I would wreck this one bad if I tried multitasking

I am leaking oil from the DCR big oil filter kit...so I gotta revamp it or something

Damn oil leaks are the devil....you fix one and then it finds the second lowest path of resistance to attack and it leaks there.

But I am running fucking PIG rich! Despite all the porting, the stage 2 injectors are just WAYY too much for this car @ 16lbs. I'm going to install the wideband tomorrow and up the boost. I'll be happy with spiking 19 holding 17/18...

But not knocking is pretty awesome. I've already had like 4 people try to run me...including an RSX with K-pro. He was at an amazing "230 dyno tuned at the wheels" LOL

Ahh godamnit

Well, I installed methanol and upped the boost. Long story short it pulls like a raped ape, but now the clutch can't take anymore power. Looks like i'll be clutch shopping soon

Updates!

-Clutch is holding up fine now for some reason, almost never slips.
-Got a new exhaust manifold, modified stock for ext. wastegate
-Going to go direct port meth soon
-Getting return line tomorrow
-New valve cover!

I want to dyno so bad now...I feel like i'm going to piss my pants lol. I hope for atleast 300whp

I think I need to paint that power steering cap, it looks like shit

The PS cap, washer reservoir cap, oil dip stick handle and brake fluid cap....paint them ALL!
