well here's pictures of the damage. looks like 2nd gear bearing desintegrated. No idea what would have caused that

So it was the bearing? Shit dude, that makes me almost 100% sure that's what is happening with the 3.55. That's the first thing that came to mind when I heard it, remember?

yeah its weaksauce. I had the dealer test drive my car today/check the oil. they said the oil was metallic looking and it sounded like a loose/worn bearing. If trans# 3 doesnt fix it. its t850 and boost time.

That looks pretty narly. Well the 3.55 tranny isn't all that bad. It'll help ya from breaking the tires loose as much.
