Post by moparman00 » Wed Nov 26, 2008 10:35 am

is it possible to just remove the airbag covers? for the steering wheel, just the center piece...and for the passenger side, the cover that goes between the dash cover and the glove box.....this is on a 2000

Just wondering...why do you want to remove the cover?
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

well when you take out the pass airbag.. there is the air bag and the dash peice... the dash peice slides off from the rest

I sent my cover to be painted so I wanted to take it off to save on shipping cause the bag was like 10lbs

when you say slide off, do you mean to the side? cus i removed a bunch of screws, and tried to pull it off by just pulling it off of the airbag, and no budge, but tomorrow ill try pulling it to the side...
