fan question

Post by danielc24 » Sat Nov 29, 2008 3:20 pm

2002 base model- the other day i noticed a wire hanging from the front of my car. I'm guessing it's for the fan and when i tried to plug it back in the clip that it plugs into is broke, and there isn't alot of room to work with. How do i fix this?

ouch! You will prolly need to get a harness connector for the fan from the dealer/JY. I scanned through Napa's site and all they seem to offer are the crank and cam sensor harness connectors.
At least it's cold here in Ohio! Tho city traffic may still cause you grief without a fan!

Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.

If I read this correctly, the plastic housing that the wire connects to is broken at the fan, correct?

If so, the only way to make it right is to replace the fan motor. Sorry :(
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
