Brake Light Disable Switch

Post by mopar4life » Sun Nov 30, 2008 11:15 am

My buddy rigged a switch into his truck that allows the taillights to be completey disabled when you tap the brake. Where are the wires in a SRT-4 to allow you to do the same? Never know when you might have to make a clean getaway.

First off, that is the dumbest idea I have ever heard of...

Secondly, the taillight wires are in the trunk with the taillights, and run forward through the main body harness... I think it runs down the drivers side floor but it may be the passenger side floor.

The reason I don't think it's a good idea is that it seems way too likely that you can/will turn your brakelights off when you're on the road causing an accident you will be at-fault on.

Or if it just turns off the taillights and not the brakelights, you could always get a ticket for no tails...

Thats what I figured prior to saying anything. Its just for gettin away from the pyscho's that follow you all night and the like. Maybe even the Police if things get too wild.

Wouldn't more HP do that better than turning off your lights? Their headlights will still light up your ass end, lol.

And the licence plate, but then you could go James Bond on their asses, and flip it up into the body and have covers slide over the tails so they don't reflect either.

Or you could tint the tails for less/no reflection. And I've actually toyed with the idea of putting a switch that disables the pressure switch on the brake pedal so if I'm flying at night, and need to stop the brakes I can flip the switch and slow down without anybody being the wiser.

Gas pedal dont work too well in the side streets but it does once you hit the two lane blacktops headin outta town lol. They all got P71 Vics but 120 is all they'll do.

Fleeing and eluding is a 4th degree felony in Ohio. Which means you could be Bubba's bitch for a while at Mansfield. :dogfuck: :runaway:
