On second thought...Of course the roof scoop is a MUST!!!!
because the whole goal is to try and make your car look like its a sugar coated race car! for these car shows and brownie points ya see! (Mmmm brownies....)
Thats why you have to have the
EXTERIOR:
-Big body kit (a MUST have)
-Hood pins,
-Z3 fenders,
-GT rear view mirrors,
-Roof scoop (functional or not, its an option on NFS games so its a MUST)
-A really expensive PAINT JOB, but it must be a candy or metallic color and be really shiny!!
-Stickers are also good (like APC, Malboro), but must be put on cleanly.
-Big wheels atleast 17" or bigger, and must be really low pro (handles better)
- As many carbon fiber parts as possible (hood, trunk, gas flap)
Interior:
-Reclinable Racing seats (not FIA approved of course)
-Fire extinguisher (useful incase theres a fire at the car show)
Mods you should consider:
-Rally Armor mud flaps
-PIAA lights (like 6 should be good)
-Carbon Fiber front canards
-Rear diffusser, and roof flow seperators
-GT wing 42" or wider
-Drilled and slotted rotors
-Harness bar (or Roll cage, as long as it doesnt interfere with the SUBS)
-High Temp paint for calipers and valve cover ( or stick on Brembo caliper facades!)
-Steel braided cover for your radiator hose and other applicable wires
-More gauges! you can never have too many
- Racing style steering wheel with NOS buttons (W/ QR if possible)
-NOS bottles
-27" LCD in the trunk, LCD's behind head rests and one in dash W/ X-Box 360
-Paint dash and all plastic part a glossy color matching the exterior
- Reupholster what you can to match.
-Neon lights (inside and out)
And Ta-Da!!! you get a winning show car!!

Seems like some people don't understand the concept of a show car. I don't understand the reasons why people do it, but I do understand the concept of building a car up to ridiculous visually overstimulating proportions not intended for any other purpose than to compete for props from your peers and a plastic trophy (and maybe money if you're top dog in your niche).
Just like I don't understand why people build a car to go as fast as they can in a 1/4 mile straight line for 14, 12, 10 seconds or so for no other purpose than to get props from your peers and a plastic trophy (and money if you're top dog in your niche).
Just like I don't understand why I get up at the ass-crack of dawn to drive for an hour and a half then haul all my gear out the back to switch out my tires so I can swerve around some cones for a total of 5 minutes or so in the hopes of getting tips from my peers and a little plastic trophy (and no money whatsoever), then switch all my tires back and drive an hour and a half back home.
If you show it , drag it , or race it...it doesn't matter. It's your thing. Not everyone's going to like or understand it, and they don't have to. As long as it matters to you.
So please, enough of they negativity. If you don't get it, the question wasn't for you!
blah, blah, blah.....done.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

From some other pics I've seen, I recommend the following (you may have fixed some of this stuff already):
Do something with the exhaust holes in the rear bumper, shave em or get an exhaust that utilizes the holes.
Not a fan of the roof scoop idea, but since you're doing it, make sure it's subtle and molded into the roof.
If you can, shave those weird holes in the bumper underneath the taillights. Never liked em on that bumper and they make the bottom of the taillight stick out a lil bit.
Make sure your interior is unique, but done cleanly. Lexeon's interior is a great example.
Do what you can with the motor, I would think that a clean engine bay would beat out a mass amount of mods?
Being unique can be fun and sure will gain you points at a show, as long as it's done with a high degree of quality and style. Good luck.
