SXT has been up to its shutoff at bout 118. same for the 01 SE i used to have (the SE spent much more time there than the SXT has ever seen)

SRT i have had up to between the 155 and 160.

It says at 6250 RPM's, with 205/50/15's, you'll top out at 159.8 MPH.

If you can get standalone, 7000 will be 178.99 MPH, and 7500 being 191.77 MPH.

I would not EVER go that fast in a neon.

With SRT tires (205/50/17):
7500: 208.4, 7000: 194.5, 6250: 173.67

I have topped out at around 115 in the neon on a track... all stock.
The caddy has seen upwards of 130 with room for more and the fastest I have been was in a Twin Turbo GTO at around 170mph... and that was achieved in no more then a mile length from a 80mph start...

well, pulled a little trick and hit the 118 and then downshifted and punched it goin down a hill and pushed in the clutch and hit 120.

on my bike though... 174 MPH! (a then stock CBR1000RR)
