Center Exit Exhaust

Post by 02PatriotBlue » Sun Aug 28, 2005 9:23 pm

Has anyone attempted this? Fitment would be easy but just wondering about looks.

I am planning on a magnaflow 4" round muffler that is 14" long that I will put in the center section and then remove the stock axle back and then just run custom piping to the center exit magnaflow tips.

Any comments, good bad?

depends, if you had an oval-shaped exhaust cutout and had the muffler run through that it might look good (like a boxster)

see..... GOOOOOOOD

Kaminari center exhaust looks good. To say it doesnt because it "Copies another car" is rediculous. Porsche are IMO ugly. Never have liked their looks... newer ones arnt bad... but older ones? FUGLY. Once again, just an opinion.

2. i destroy those things in races, so id say hes probably a little mad that i drive a POS neon, yet he cant catch me.

Back on topic, I would say that the exhaust would look good if there was an aftermarket rear bumper cover like the one in the picture. If it were exiting the car with a stock rear bumper, it'd look a little funny.

$90 for an exhaust tip? You'd have to be insane.

The neon is purely my commuter car/work vehicle. Wasnt meant to be fast, I just wanted to make it look a little different.
