hi...new here from SE Pa...1gen owner from the big org

hi...

i'm from the Doylestown area of Bucks County Pa and have been on the big org for awhile...
i have a 1gen but came here coz it seems that the ECN meets (in my relative area...lol)
are based at this site,
and i want to get to see more neons and meet some neon ppl.

i've had my neon for almost 2 years now and it's nothing special,
just a DD with very few things done (listed in my sig)...
in the future i hope to add things like, Depos, sway bars, 2gen console ... whatever...
i work 13 hours on nightshift, drive 1 hour each way and am fulltime caretaker for my sick wife,
have a dog to care for also, so i don't really have much "free" time...lol...
free time? what is it?!?
at this stage of my life, i really don't have time (or confidence) to do much of my own work
on the car and have to rely on having people with more time, knowledge,
ability and confidence to work on it for me ;(

if you've gotten this far and haven't already fell asleep or died of boredom from reading all this...lol...anything else you want to know, just ask.

I think ECN is meeting on the 27th this month. We meet in allentown at one of the Friendly's

thx for the welcome...yah, i know about the ecn thing saturday, been posting at the big org (in datadaves thread there) and have tried to follow when and where the ecn meets are/will be but havent gotten out to 1 yet...almost made it to 1 in the summer, but spent all day on the road picking up and haveing my Iceman and tray installed (out in York, Pa), and fell asleep when i got home...lol
yes, cool to get to know someone sorta-local with a neon...my best friend lives in Telford...i guess thats about as local as i've talked with anyone at these sites so far...lol

not sure how informative this will be for me and my 1gen, but who knows...lol
and as far as me "hanging out", i guess you didnt fully read my long disortation about not having much free time...hell, i just barely have time for sleeping and eating these days let alone finding time to get online...lol

There are quite a few 1st gen members on here, and much of the info we provide applies to both 1st and 2nd gen.

And yes, I read your intro...but this site has a way of sucking you in. It's like crack for your Neon and we are the dealers
