MY Neon and Mustang

Post by 20neon00 » Tue Dec 23, 2008 11:28 pm

Hey guys, just thought i'd post up some pictures of my cars, my neons actually being returned to stock and being used in the winter now that the mustang is finally drivable and on the road (in the summer anyways)

Heres some of the neon... Not pictured are the r/t sides or avs spoiler which never made it onto the car before i decided to stop spending money on it and making the mustang a cruiser with some go and not a track car.

And some of the mustang

And the two together during the teardown of the neon (interior gone and eyelids and headlights and small things)

And a teaser of the winter work on the mustang, been to busy to finish taking off the rest of the stuff and installing the new stuff. I wish i had a before picture then i could post an after picture.

The floor, where the seat bolts to the floor.

And I wouldnt paint it because i put it to stock and sold everything off to pay for some parts on the mustang, and Its just going to be driven on long drives, in bad weather, and the winter

NOT GOOD!!! They should be strapped 1/2 way up your back. it will compress your spine if you get into an accident with them moubted so low!!!

Really?? They will definately be moved then over the winter, I want to put a 4pt roll cage in it so i could put it to that.

 sounds good. you never want to mount them so low. that's why you hear of so many back injuries in racing mostly because of that reason. try to mount them as high as you can to the shoulders of the seats about mid way up your back - 2/3rds up your back is fine

Love the SRT rear on the Neon. Now get it all painted! Not a fan of the two tone mustang with the air induction hood.

The straps should be higher than your shoulders.

that's too bad about the neon, the must ang looks great though. I'd definitely lose the luggage rack and get a Cobra spoiler for it though.

hey, no the rear tires dont match, they should all be toyo proxie 4's but i got a flat and needed a new 1 asap so got a falkien. and the neon isnt supposed to be 2 tone but never got around to painting the whole car. Mainly because it would of costed a shit load from all the dents and the roof is fucked from kids jumping on it.
