4 -> 6 disc changer swap

who has done this??? obviously i need the 6 disc changer unit, but i thought i remember needing some kind of wiring harness adapter to run the 6 disc changer in a neon that was designed to run the 4 disc changer

why don'y you just buy the radio with the built in 6 disc ( in dash ) player from Dodge? It sounds better than the one you have.

i think the srt'4s come with a 6cd changer...i don't see why you would need something else special to run it in yours....dunno...it's a good ? i'm interested...i wouldn't mind have 2 more cd's in my player =)

the unit is 1 1/2" deeper and some wiring harness holder must be cut away. Unit is not stock in a neon/srt-4 because of that. It si used in some other model(s).
