X-Mass Gift From My Car... >.>

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

X-Mass Gift From My Car... >.>

Post by Karizmatik » Thu Dec 25, 2008 9:24 am

Well, my in-laws got me and my wife a room at a really expensive hotel for Christmas eve night (dover downs casino/hotel). We were on our way there feeling all giddy as this was going to be our first time staying here ($400 bucks a night). All the sudden we here this loud booming sound and the car starting shaking vigerously. I pull over to the side of the road, start to look under the car as i thought it was tranny related but i seen no liquids on the road or anything. So i then pop my hood to see one of my plug wires just sitting on the valve cover and no spark plug in the cylinder. It appears that the spark plug shot up, hit my hood (put a nice hole in the hood skin) and some freakin how wedge itself under the front side of my valve cover. It was like 9 at night so we just called my bro and he gave us a ride back to the house and we just took the regal. And as if that wasn't lucky enough for me, on the way to the hotel the red devil came to visit my wife.. Woo hoo lol. I'll update w/ some pics a bit later, it's all still as is, spark plug and all. Oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAS peoples : - )

Ah man, you just blew your plug out. Honestly, it's not that hard to fix, you can helicoil it, or you can change the head, it's not too terrible. If you want, if you want to change the head, let me know and I can head up and give you a hand.

Or if you're really lucky, the porcealin just came out of the plug leaving the metal part in the head. Have had that happen once. Don't know how good a look you had taken at it.
At least you got to stay in the room!

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.
