yes it is the "c" pillar just pops out atleast mine did and the "b" pillars is a little more work roll down front window and then pull down the window seal and you will see the screws for the pillar cover. now for the back windows you have to take the window half way out for the window doesnt roll down far enought to get to all the screws so you have to undo the track and window from inside the door and then you should be able to get to that last screw. good luck for i never had time to do the back windows so i only did the front ones.

Should be no problem painting them. Just make sure to take your time and to prep everything properly. A poor prep job will show in the final product.

I'm not a fan of the paint matched pillar look, but go for it. I like the matched mirror look though. still debating whether i should do my folding mirrors silver

All of my pillars just popped out with a little tugging, and they popped back in, although the seatbelts were a pain in the ass to get around!

not much at all if the peice is in good shape ( meaning no big scratches grooves or andthing that might need smoothed out ) im really an "A hole" when i comes to my car. so my pieces where good i just scrubbed the peice until it is a grey color then whip it down with acetone the spray some kind of adhesion promoter i used dupli color then paint with dupli color vinyl and fabric paint or you can use high temp ceramic paint let dry for a while i waited about a month after last coat before installing. i use high temp engine paint on my outside pillars.

Couldn't you just tape off with newspapers or plastic bags and paint only what you desire on the pillars? I for one hate figuring out how to take things apart lol.

yes you could but there will always be that chance that you dont get into the cracks all the way or the paint runs under the tape but its up to the painter. see i have o.c.d so like my stuff has to look perfect or i end up doing it all over again.
