Changing the rear

has anyone put an SRT4 rear bumper on an 03-04 sxt..and the exhaust system? pics??

Why do you need pics? Just look at a rear shot of an SRT-4.

That's what it would look like. It will all just bolt on, aside from paint.

i have an sxt with sxt exhaust...i dont think srt cover will fit exhaust...or i will have to buy both

the srt exhaust pipes are wider than the r/t pipes. Im not sure by how much though.

My SRT exhaust had to be narrowed almost 2"'s per side....

well i guess i will have to measure it ...man i really want a srt rear cover.....but i dont want the srt exhaust,...because i have hear its too loud on a sxt with man trans

its only loud if you just use the catback...
install a resonator or glasspack on the midpipe and you will be fine. The SRT resonators are garbage, I picked up a NAPA resonator for a GM product for around $30 and it was quieter than the dual SRT resonators...

the rear bumper with R/T exhaust holes are different. The R/T muffler would need to be extended approximately 1.5 - 2 inches on each side of the pipes.

Optionally you can do the rolled bumper mod

How do you do the rolled bumper mod, i've heard about SRT guys doing it but never anyone exlpaining how its done.

so..its only loud if i use the rear section of the exhaust only right?..well what if i use the stock mid section from "down pipe" back that connects to the rear section of the windy pipes that fo out the back of the car...still loud?...or am i going to have to buy resonator....are they boly on?....and can some one upload those rolled bumper mod pics....the other link is missing about 4 pics
