Well got some damage on one of my rims late last week due to road work around my house over here. Have a nice bent/cracked driver-side rim, fighting with the company that is doing the roadwork now. Anyone ever have to deal with anything like this that could give me pointers? I dont really have the money right now to fork out for a new factory @ 264.00 so I need to fight with them until they pay for it.

in florida i was told if you damage your rim/tire from a pot hole or somethin on the roads the state is supposed to fix it for you. you just show the damage and take pics of the pot hole and send it in. and thats about as far as i know of what to do with it. i was only told this so im not sure if its true. it might be the same in your areea if its even real, but yeh that sucks man hope everything works out. i hate shitty roads and tend to try and stay away from them. we pay the states enough money they should fix the roads those ass clowns.

I've heard the same for Washington state and knew a few people who actually recieved a check for a new rim. Unfortuneatly when I bent the hell out of my rim on a pot hole I got lazy and by the time I went to take pics of it they had already filled it in.refect wrote:in florida i was told if you damage your rim/tire from a pot hole or somethin on the roads the state is supposed to fix it for you. you just show the damage and take pics of the pot hole and send it in. and thats about as far as i know of what to do with it. i was only told this so im not sure if its true. it might be the same in your areea if its even real, but yeh that sucks man hope everything works out. i hate shitty roads and tend to try and stay away from them. we pay the states enough money they should fix the roads those ass clowns.
