Insurance increase with SRT-4?
Insurance increase with SRT-4?
Now, I know that there is definately an insurance price increase with the purchase of an SRT-4 - but my question is: How much did YOUR insurance increase? I just want to get a rough estimate as I might be in the market soon for one.

Call your insurance company and ask. Its the best way to get an accurate quote. Prices vary depending on region and driving record so get one tailored to you.

Yeah, it totally depends on driving record, your age, M/Y of the car, and how long you've had your license. Also, what type of coverage you want factors in as well. I would plan on at least a $50-100/mo increase at your age, closer to the $100 if you have tickets. Maybe more if you have a lot going against you.

Mines insured under my dad and they pay around 120 per month is what it amounts to. We do the 6 month lump sum pay deal though. I think the 2 D-150s are like 80 per truck. Liability on everything we got except the Diesel.

My friend just bought an srt , he's also 19 with 1 traffic ticket for going 11 over the speed limit (thats what the ticket says) and the cheapest he could find for him for full coverage was 310 a month for 6 months. His mom was going nuts she couldnt believe it so she ended putting the car under her insurance to help him. But around here thats normal for guys under 25. My insurance on my basic neon was 355 for full coverage when I first got it but I had 3 tickets 1 being for an accident and it finally went down now that I havent had a ticket for 4 years.

Mine went up about 60 bux with 2 tickets on my record when I first got my srt. It also depends on if the insurance company you choose uses your zip code as way of figuring rates.
I don't skinny dip. I chunky dunk!
