What are your driving habits? Basically, how do you drive?

). I am courteous and I know what a turn signal is. And, I don't follow too close or tailgate.

I am a very laid back driver, I rarely go 10 mph over the speed limit. I am not an aggressive driver, but if someone pisses me off, I will definately put on my yelling voice. I often use my turn signal too much, I even use it on mandatory right bends. I do tailgate alot though.
I am awesome.Automatic wrote:Go fuck yourself Danny boy.

Doing that just make you an agressive driver too. I like to think I am much better than them. All agressive drivers should be shot in the foot at least.raul-01 wrote:Why would you waste your time reporting aggressive drivers? I just give them the finger.

I drive fast, but don't take any chances. I always use my turn signals. I'm courteous enough to let people over and in and through, and I get fairly vocal when others aren't so nice to me.
If the road drops a lane, and someone comes up next to me from 100 miles back, I ain't letting them in. They should have seen the signs posted 200 miles beforehand. Everyone else did. I'm exaggerating distances, of course.

I'm the say way... those people piss me off to no end... other week I was stuck in traffic on the way home from work and one of my friends called me real fast so I pick it up, talk a bit then a damn Miata keeps trying to cut infront of me and jerking her car over. Without even telling the person I have on the phone to hold on a just a sec I cut them off in the middle of their sentence and yell out the window "GET IN YOUR OWN FUCKING LANE!!!" then proceded to flip 'em off. Stupid bitch... ughStonebender wrote:I drive fast, but don't take any chances. I always use my turn signals. On the local streets, I don't drive excessively fast at all--at least i don't think i do. On the highway, though, traffic and road permitting, i will drive fast...anywhere from 65-85. The only way i'm going over 85 is if I'm alone and there's *hardly* anyone on the road. Other than that, I always signal, I always do things in advanced, avoiding doing things at the last minute (like deciding to turn while in the left/right lane, changing lanes on the highway ahead of time etc.).
As far as yelling goes...lol. I come from NY. That horn of mine (the aftermarket 120 decibal level one) gets put to good use
I try and refrain from yelling but if i have to, i will

im a pretty calm driver myself. i usually just cruise with the flow of traffic, but i do have moments where there will be open road ahead of me once i get through traffic and just gun it till i catch up to traffic again. if i am speeding it's usually 10-20 over, and im not doing it agressive. i just speed up when i get the chance to speed and then slow down the speed of traffic and make my way around it calmly and then speed up again. i do tail gate sometimes, but not too bad.,and i am pretty nice to others. i dont cut them off hardcore, i let people merge in, get in front of me, ect. ect. the one that that pisses me off the most is when i let someone pull out in front of me or get over when they barley have enough time, and they dont do the little wave
. because i could of ruined their life and not let them in and cut them off hardcore or just let them run off the road, but i was nice and chose not to. so i would like the wave in return.

Being that I've only had my lic. for 5 months, I am a pretty calm driver. When i drive home late on tuesdays and thursdays, from marching band, I have a little fun and I sometimes go 85-90, depending on the traffic.
Other than that, i drive pretty calmly. Here in HI, the damn freeways are too small to speed, and, when a driver gets me pissed, I yell my fucking head off, then I flip them the bird.
When I race, on the track, I just look straight ahead, and concentrate.
