I did the exact same thing when installing mine 2 years ago. Makes no sense to have the pull handle hidden behind the carpet.
It does if you don't want them escaping.....

Damn I look away for a few days and you have R/T exhaust, rear disc brakes, trunk carpet, and all kinds of color matched stuff. You've been busy I see!

I have! :D I haven't gotten the brakes on yet, I got a lot of prep work to do for that. And I think I might just get coil overs while I'm at it and put those on while I have the brakes and everything off rather than use the springs I bought, not sure yet though. I also think I'll do breaks and suspension at the same time. So it might take me a while to get enough money to get everything I want/need and get it on.

Well, while I was out with the lady friend today, I noticed Shadow was blind in one eye when I saw his reflection in the back of a truck. So the lady friend and I stopped at Advanced and I got some bulbs before we continued on our way. I changed them when I got home from the night and Shadow can once again see out of both eyes.

But the light worked with the high beams:

lol, I though you might have gotten a kick out of that. :) And yes, I do like the Silverstars, the ones I just replaced lasted me a little over 3 years. I was looking for Silverstar Ultras, but they didn't have them. I need to get some for my fogs, I'm still running stock bulbs in those, lol.

^ Why's that? Because of the Amazing Grace-like title? And I am, sort of. I don't read my bible a lot, but I go to church.

I can haz rear sway bar?

You bet your ass I can! Just installed it this afternoon. Let me know if something looks wrong or off. I keep having this feeling I screwed something up. If something is wrong, I'll fix it ASAP.

Definitely jealous of the no rust.

Install looks good. But the drivers side strut bracket looks kinda bent.

I installed the rear strut tower bar today. I'm not to happy about cutting out a chunk of my trunk carpet. I my pull one from the junk yard and replace it and try again.

I was trying to find pics of what some other people on here have done for some inspiration, but I couldn't find any thing.

Anyway, here's some pics:

You could have just cut some little slits in the carpet then just slid / wriggled it in there. Then you don't see any of it except carpet and the actual bar. Still looks good though.
