i wouldn't say its pansy, minutes later after that , that crazy ass tried to kill us with road rage in front of our house....i'd say your driving was the only thing saving our ass from meeting that pole.

Just to let everybody know, we snapped an alternator belt and tried getting home quick when we get cut off by some jackhole in a truck. guys slows down to 20 for a long ways, then sits at a stopsign and doesnt move for a good while (leaving us no room to turn past him), then goes 5 mph. I signal him to move and he locks up his brakes..which then leaves me to say 'GET THE F OUTTA OUR WAY!!!" so we put it back in gear and try going around him, he then punches it and cranks the wheel leaving us with only inches from hitting a pole or getting creamed by him. He wasnt trying to scare, he was trying to total us out!!!

pulls in our driveway and starts threatening my little bro...so i step in and he shuts up...then goes again, then shuts up, blah blah.

Ended up being a 'family friend'....until we turned his ass in! He's still getting off with nothing

So yea, our night with the R/T. Interesting

not yet, we just got it running friday night. Track day is this saturday..so we'll see what kinda times he'll pull. He's going to keep it only at 9 psi...so im expecting high 11's low 12's. Its making his hahn 20g setup look like nothing.

I say High 12s, Low13s. That car looks like it pulls about at hard as my Spirit, but with much shorter gears.

car is moving so much faster than with his hahn kit, and on a hot day @ 10psi he ran 13.4.

We'll see what happens. He's going to be running on slicks so good times will be easy to achieve. Also, its going to be low 60's here saturday evening when he's running, much better than the high 80's he ran the 13.4 in

Ok, With slicks and cool temps I can believe low 12s. I wish him luck.

i ran a 13.4 with a hrc stage 2 kit and mpx exhaust..stock everyything else. now i have a way better kit, 3 inch DP,quaife LSD,mpx 60mm tb, indy intake manifold port matched to the 60mm tb, stage 4 CM clutch, other piddly crap..i always forget alot. those are some basic add ons. it pulls ALOT harder than my other setup and traction isnt that bad with the quaife..the turbo makes WAY more power..block holds way more than the other;) slicks will be great. im not worried at all to achieve low times,just gonna start at 9 psi. boost will only go up.

its got the MPX bottom end kit. eagle rods and je pistons etc. picked it up from a buddy at a good deal,so if it pops...im not to worried. it will last me until winter atleast :twisted: 35 psi on this turbo would DEFANITELY be hard on any setup....im gonna work my way up from 9 where its at now. im curious to see the times i can pull at this low of boost. tomorrow ill know :) i have pics of my setup if peopel are interested.

whats he using for fuel management...? The GT35/40 really loves higher boost levels, wait till you get past 20psi, you'll be smilling for days.
I would post a mod list, but Its too long and i'm way too lazy....

At first it didn't seem quick at all in the begining, until 4th gear.

Then starting in second gear at the end, it's like wweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. :D

as long as you tune it right,
for every effiecent 1psi of boost you should ad atleast 10hp...
5psi = 50hp
10psi = 100hp
Those figures are an average, good turbo,efficent intercooler, proper tuning etc...
My daytona ran 75psi of fuel pressure under boost. It used the stock 35lb/hr of fuel injectors for the mains. And I had 4 extra injectors mounted before the throttle body also rated at 35lb/hr. The 4 extra injectors came on and ran wide open starting at 18psi of boost.
The initial 18psi of boost hit, it ran a lil rich but by the time it hit 25psi of boost it leaned out a lil bit but I was still safely rich. Until I flipped a switch and spooled it up to 35psi and it was STOICH and I was not happy with that because it pinged a little. The cure-----> propane injection :twisted:
At 30psi of boost I had propane injected through a 45lb/hr injector mounted in front of the extra 4 injectors. The advantage...instant octane boost,cooler intake charge---more power!!! At the time I had(and still) no money to rig up a fuel controller, so I'll I used to tune it was an A/F gauge and the old DRB 1 to monitor other sensors.....the car was wild :twisted:
