Uhh. If its your daily driver, why shave the door handles? Won't that just make it a hassle to get in the car?

Most work off of a remote key fob. And if those fail there is a switch hidden somewhere to activate them. If the battery dies, well I don't have a good answer for that.
As for the original question IDK.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

well maybe if all fails he can get in trough the trunk . like a smart thing would be to not shave that one so that way if all fails just use the key to get on trough it.occasional demons wrote:Most work off of a remote key fob. my friend has door poppers on his prelude. they are pretty cool but unnecessary but if you got the extra cash then should be pretty cool.

doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Most kits come with a fob to open the doors. I wouldn't hide a switch under the mirror. it's out in the open for anyone. Sure, it's no different than a handle being there, but why bother even shaving them if you're not going to do it right? It doesn't cost that much for an AutoLoc or Spal kit that is actually good quality. Just my opinion..

door poppers are a hassel for neons there is not a lot of space for the for the actual cylinode. have them professionaly installed because they are a pain to get working. iv had my cylinodes in 3 different areas. im going to be using a better more space saver cylinode. this isnt the exact kit im goin with i just put this picture to show the cylinodes. there a lot smaller and they have the same power and easier to mount.

oh and have a safty pull cord. trust me it sucks when you finally get it working and after you shut the door about 20 times it stops working. its really gonna suck if you dont have a safty pull cord.

If you have a good battery, it's not going to die. Then you would be in the same position as any of us except you'd have to crawl through the trunk to get inside. If you're running from an animal or a bear then yeah that could get ugly

This is the exact kit I have. And where I have them install I have had no problems at all. Have been workin great. No pics. Def had to do soemthing modding to the door parts. But I got it to work. Probably not the best way, but it works great adn I am not worried about it breaking or not working. I still have my handles though. As since it is a daily I don't want to take the chance of getting myself stuck lol. I got my kit really cheap and also have it hooked up to my air ride too.sxxxt wrote:door poppers are a hassel for neons there is not a lot of space for the for the actual cylinode. have them professionaly installed because they are a pain to get working. iv had my cylinodes in 3 different areas. im going to be using a better more space saver cylinode. this isnt the exact kit im goin with i just put this picture to show the cylinodes. there a lot smaller and they have the same power and easier to mount.

Or you could put it where the handle goes- oh wait. lolMach wrote:35 pounders are plenty.
Also put the emergency open button up in the wheel well. The bottom of the mirror is not a good idea.
