I believe there is a fix that involves soldering and stuff

Just pull the bulb

it is because you didn't have abs when the car was built and the sxt cluster didn't look for the abs module. All srt-4's have ABS so the cluster is looking for it and cannot find it. You can do the mod but if your ever low on brake fluid the cluster will not tell you as it is only wired to the ebrake. the only way to get it to work right is to install abs on the car which is not something most can/will do.

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

my car is an 01 SE base no a/c no options except the traction control, I got the srt cluster installed and had no lights coming up.

^Do the lights work?
The R/T cluster in a standard neon will do the same. The pics in the how to don't come up anymore, but I think they still work on the other .org.
