Need to find a lip

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

Need to find a lip

Post by JeffM » Fri Jan 16, 2009 3:01 pm

So yeah, it's winter and I'm on the hunt for an '02 bumper and a Civic SI lip. I think the combination is pretty sweet. I can easily find places that sell the '02 bumper on the cheap but I've been having some trouble finding a Civic SI lip. Can anyone direct me to any sites? Every site I've gone to so far either leads me to insane body kit selections or random Honduh forums. Any help would be great guys!

You got a mugen lip for the price of an SI lip? I would have resold that REAL quick. Or was it a knock off?

Thanks for the info guys. I've used Ebay before but it's always the LAST place I check for car stuff.

One more question which I guess should have been addressed at the beginning:

Will I have to do something to the lip in order to get it to fit right? I'm guessing the lip will have some flex to it.

you will have to remove a section out of the center to get it the right width, and then a heat gun to help flex it to the shape of the 02 bumper.
