Clear Taillights
Has anyone seen clear taillights on a '00-'02 Neon.
I think they look badass.
Check them out.

a lot of the mamalukes on the other org hate them. personally, if you have them match the car, say all white, it'd look killer. Even if the car were black, those lights would be a good contrast along with a clear 3rd brake light, side markers etc.
Just depends on the color of the car. I don't think it'd go with mine...PG8--deep hunter green.
They do look nice though. That's not a bad price either.

In my humble opinion, i would say white and black. All white, with that and the 3rd brake light, with side marker and headlight, would look nice. It would look all sleek and smooth, clean.
Black, I think, would create a nice contrast: same deal with all the lamps changed out.
Any other ideas? Electric blue? I saw someone with that. That looked kinda nice but he also had white decals. It matched.
I dunno. Whaddya think? Anyone else?

i didn't think they made those any more... i've always liked those... way better than the altezzas
as far as matching the car... its gotta match the theme, all lights white and maybe some white wheels (even though some people think white wheels are out)

I'm not too sure about other states, but here you need to have some sort of red reflector on the rear of the car. I figure that's why all of these lights were going away because lack of DOT legality... They then started making those, but with little gay red reflector strips in them, but it kinda' defeated the purpose of the clear lens and looked dorky... I think that's when the euroclear ("Altezza's") took over, because they still have red reflective strips in them. If you look at any aftermarket taillight (euroclears), you'll notice that there are red reflectors in them...raul-01 wrote:Don't they have to be red? I been told its illegal to have clear tails. My friend had some on his Mustank and got a ticket and had to uninstall them. wtf is going on here!

^^nice picture
lol but demonstrats your point, i think that is what makes them DOT legal, so that when other cars lights hit them, they see you, kinda like the way the headlights reflect, its safer pretty much. i personally am not a big fan of completely clear taillights...you have to have the right colored car when it comes down to it, like white. but i have to wonder what they would look like tinted??
