yep i plan on using it on my 4 speed srt swap, i am using switches to shift it for now until i can save up for the 750 dollar pcs controller. Ghetto....yes, but it works for now.

in semi-stock form the 41TE in the 02-03 neons can take so alot more power then what everyone thinks.

Check out the thread on neons.org RacerStev ran mid 500's through a stock trans with some Valve body mods and a PG diff.

I plan on running 300 hp through it with the same exact mods and then uping to 400-450 soon.

same thing the stock computer does, with some added stuff like manual shift inputs and the ability to change the shift points in auto mode.

I need it because i am running the srt-4 engine/pcm and it has no outputs like the stock 2.0 auto pcm has for transmission control.

its up to you depending on what you are going to do.

if you are keeping your 2.0 i would swap to a mtx as the way the stock computer shifts the trans it would not last long

also if you were to stay auto you would have to have another torque converter and some valve body mods to go along with it

I have a 96 transmission in my 04. I just had to swap the bell housing over.

If you run the cable actuation, you need a cable bell housing, or if you run the hydraulic actuation, you need the hydraulic bell housing. The transmission side is interchangable. Just figure out what pedals, etc. you have, and get the matching transmission. That will save you the headaches of having to crack open the transmission and re-seal it all.

I'm actually not going to spin it that fast. I won't need to. I'm thinking 8600 is where I'm going to shift it, with a redline at 8800.

The 16g. That was at only 22-23 psi from 2nd gear up. I was blowing by a full bolt-on evo at the 1/8 mile, still spinning the tires lol.

No, that was a forged 9.2:1 compression bottom end, but the head was untouched with the exception of a 2nd revision magnum cam. Just good management and good fuel. Same thing I'm doing on the new build, but the new build has a TON more potential.

Depends on what you mean. Turboing an NGC computer = fail. Turboing an NGC motor = FTW.
