Another newbie from VA

Post by Stryker » Sun Feb 08, 2009 10:21 pm

What's goin on everybody. I have been a member for a little while but I haven't really had time to look through the site or post until now. I am in Manassas Park, VA for now and I recently purchased a 2004 Graphite SXT. I had never really been into neons until I saw that car and now I don't think I would ever get rid of it. I don't have any pics but I will get some as soon as I get back into town.

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

I don't think that I have talked to you before but you might have seen my car in there at the end of December. I bought it from Koon's Ford in Baltimore and they "forgot" to mention that the car had a transmission leak and a jacked up rack and pinion. I think you guys had my car for about three weeks. Its all good now especially since it didn't cost me anything to have the repairs done.

Here are some pics of the car. I will be taking some more after I get it cleaned this weekend.

I've got some mods planned but like everything else right now, I've just got to wait for the money.

Yeah, the rims (and the whole car) need to be cleaned. The rims are chrome. I'm not a real fan of chrome so I will eventually be getting a new set.

Sup Dude?? Good looking neon. You dont like chrome. wow. I love chrome. I'll admit they are heavy and arent to popular in the tuner world but to me it is a beautiful color. I love those style factory rims and if they were at least 7in wide I'd stay with mine but I just cant get wit da skinny look. Oh well. Welcome aboard.

Wow, chrome snowflakes, huh? Aren't those kinda' hard to come by?

Not a bad looking car! Welcome to the forums!

I don't know if they are hard to come by or not but I guess that would be a good thing for me if they are. A lot of people I have talked to think I am nuts for not liking chrome but I will admit I like the way they look with the color of the car.
