ok i was thinking of making custom poly mount inserts would i be better buying a block and shapping it or just puying ones from an after market company and cutting out a fill for them. cause if i make my own i think i'm going to try to make a more streghtyer insert but it might take a lot of time to cut and shape.

aluminum

good aluminum

time to start researching the different kinds. you want one that is tough and not brittle.

sounds about right. but you better be able to provide good drawings to the shop so as not to make them 2 or 6 times.

machine shop rate is probably in the area of $75/hour

for any who want to try this process i'll make a list. I selling the project off to a mechanic cause I do not have the time nor any more money or any more energy to spend on it. its become a money pit and its only been like a couple weeks.

i'll post a list of everything that you need to get for this kind of a project sometime later this evening for those who want to try it.

For starters form the top of my head

suspension:

bushing recomend custom made by any company that deals with that sort of stuff expect 700 for every suspension bushing from what i understand
26mm or > sawy bars front and 22mm back
stronger strut bars
harder springs in front with lighter in rear
possible air ride is best but not recomended for this cause of cost.
also recomend stronger tie rods
srt 6 axels are fine but would recomend the porsche axels for better strength.

Custom mounts soild alum. is good with custom made bushings around 550 peer mount custom made to fit neon

breaking have still been looking into this but recomend a srt6 performance break system its has i think a 16" rotar and you can fit a 18's on the car.
