Replacing the Antenna Dodge Neon 2001

Hi
Can someone please help...some DICKHEAD bent my antenna and I need to replace it....

Can anyone tell me how to remove the old antenna? its a manual one

Also my neon has a small black plastic base where the antenna comes out from do I need to remove this or do i just leave it alone?
Please help...
...And can anyone suggest a cool shorty antenna? thanx

The antenna simply screws out... you can use an adjustable crescent wrench on the base to simply screw it out.

I removed mine and store it in the trunk just to prevent nonsense like this from happening.

i got a shorty from MP and lock tightened it in. its too short to bend and cant get stolen
