I just purchased 2 new tires from tire rack. I had to find something fairly cheap but not in the POS category. I ended up debating between Hankook Ventus 12 and Sumitomos. I ended up settling getting 205/50/ZR17 SUMITOMO HTR Z III's from Tire Rack for $73 each. They are XL, Tread: 300 Traction: AA Temp: A . I do need back tires too but Im on a budget and needed the tires in case I go to this gathering this weekend with other locals.

Well today I had my friend who works at a local Dodge dealership change my oil since he has access to obvious equipment that I don't. New 452 Mopar Filter with Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 5W30 Oil. I also wiped down my engine bay a lil and took pics of my new JMB fuse box cover that I bought from Crystal a few weeks back. It matches my JMB radiator gap cover that I previously purchased from her at the end of summer time. Also I got 2 new front tires but I do not have pics because I am at my girlfriends house. So I will have pics tomorrow.

They are Sumitumo HTR Z III XL 205/50/ZR17
Tread: 300 Traction: AA Temp: A

They will go on the front and hopefully I can buy two of them for the back once I get some more money. I bought the tires so that I can possibly go to Streetwars in Englishtown, NJ this coming Saturday. I may be going with a couple other local SRT4's and a few Subarus from the area as well. It is domestic vs import day as well as Wrx vs Evo day. Anyways here is some pics of my engine bay now and of my car sitting at the dealership next to a Challenger SRT when it was done getting serviced. Pics of the tires I will get up tomorrow!!

so yesterday was my first ever time at a track. I did very well I thought for my SRT4. Only real performance upgrade is a Mopar Cold Air Intake. Anyways, SRT4's run 13.8 to 14.2 quarter miles stock so I did do well for my first time I think. I did 4 runs and everytime I had a better reaction time, 1/4 time, and higher MPH at the end. I've attached the videos in order. I apologize, my girlfriend videotaped with my crap camera but she did pretty good for her first time ever doing it and not really knowing about it

shes the best. I've also attached two vids of random stuff on the way there and some of the pit area at the raceway.

Im stock jer other than mopar cold air intake. so my best run being a 13.9 for my first time isn't bad when stock SRT4's are rated at 13.8 to 14.2 1/4 mile

JUST POSTING A LIL RANDOMNESS TODAY. I fixed the sunroof on my SRT4. It was stuck close. I had to unscrew it and take the glass out to have access to the pins and sliders. One pin was completely out of its bracket while the other was halfway. I cleaned up the debris and dust a lil bit. Lined up the pins and pushed them back in. All done in about a half hour or less. Easier fix than I thought it would be. Just in time for the gorgeous high 50's low 60's sunny weather that we have here today. On a side note, I also changed the oil on my girlfriends 01 Camry today.

My funny situation of the day: I live in a relatively small town where most people know of each other. Anyways there are lots of younger kids with hondas that are beat up and done so improperly. They all revv and chill in ridiculous areas of town and annoy people. Well today I was in my silver ACR going out of the village and this kid revvs at me in his beat up honda del sol. I was not in the mood so I turned around and caught up to him and followed him. I didnt wanna race him but wanted him to pull over so i could talk to him because I was just annoyed and getting so disinterested in the constant retardedness basically. So I proceded to follow him and i beeped and yelled out my window to pull over. He ended up passing a bunch of cars and taking a side road. So I turned around and went a different way to where I knew he'd be coming out. Sure enough out he came and I once again got behind him and beeped and yelled for him to pull over. Pathetic I know. This was getting a little stupid and wasteful of my time. He then tried to duck into a parking lot which I still found him and he eventually pulled over on our main street because he saw people he knew. I pulled over and got out. Asked him if he was a certain someone (he is a twin, so i didnt know if it was him or his brother) He told me his name and I told him if he had a problem. Asked him why he revvs and me and told him that I had no interest in him or any of his younger faggish friends. He said he was just having fun and saying hi and that it was free world. One of the village cops drove by and I noticed so I got an idea that i'll explain in a sec. So I continued on telling him to not revv at me in either of my cars and if he wanted to fuck around with other cars in town go ahead and do so but i had no interest in racing him nor do i give a crap about his car. You like your car and ill like mine. very simple. I think he was pretty amazed I went out of my way and actually got out. But i was just fet up with the bullshit. After I drove off I found the village cop that was on patrol and asked him to be aware of this kid and his car and harrassing others. They had already knew his and name are aware and he thanked me. But I felt like venting and sharing this little story with my fellow 2gners. Hopefully the kid will knock the shit off. I told him, if he wants to say hi and feels the need give a lil beep or wave but cut the dumb immature shit.

yeah, were lucky, ricers, rednecks and just plain dumb asses. if it ain't a beat up, spray painted Honda running around with a fart can and a loud system it is a F350 with tractor trailer stacks and train horns. way too many dumb asses in this town. when you go down the the grocery store parking lot and one corner looks like the local junkyard.

not even worth acknowledging them, and every one of them is a wanna be gangster, I'm surprised the kid didn't pull a pellet gun on ya nick.

if the local pd was worth a crap they would be able to eliminate half of it though because I'm not sure that many could pass a legit inspection. (to many shady shops that will throw sticker on anything pre emission or as long as the computer is happy, for the right amount of money or if you are family)

So the other day I took apart my Greddy Catch Can for the first time since purchasing the car. The bolt behind the can was a bitch to unscrew and screw in later on. I was surprised to see how it did work. It did catch some oil from the vacuum lines. I highly recommend this for anyone. they do not seem hard to install or anything. Here are a few random pics I took during the process of taking apart. I did find some oil below the can on top of the tranny. I can't locate a leak. I'll have to look closer. Looks very minor but nonetheless something that shouldn't be ignored.

You may want to keep an eye on the sight tube. My buddy has the same catch can on his SRT and it has come loose several times. Makes a nice little mess when it leaks

^ After going to 3 different auto parts stores and 5 hardware stores. I ended up finding tubing for air hose to fish filters at a pet store that ended up being the closest. Jeesh!! The overall hose size is about the same but the actual hole is bigger and the sidewall smaller. But its working so far.
