Pinks
So is pinks cancelled? I don't mean the pinks all out show they been showing, I mean the real pinks where 2 guys actually race for pink slips. The all out is okay, but the 2 man show is so much better.
The last ones they showed were in feb. of 08, and they only had like 5 episodes then just stopped. From what I can tell they only do the all out now. I read that there are only a few states where they can legally race for pink slips, not sure how much that affected the show though.

There were quite a few episodes that seemed pretty shady, where one team brings a 8 second car. And there have been a few episodes where rich pretty much forces a guy to lose, but it was mainly because 1 team was lying and sand bagging to win.
The show had flashes of a great show, especially on the few episodes where the underdog wins. My favorite was when the camaro broke on the line, then the mustang revved up to show off and popped both head gaskets.
I've been told the show is dead and they will just continue with the all out show. Oh well, it was a good run.
It was a throw back to the good old street racing days. Dallas used to have a huge street racing scene, where lengths and negotiating was part of fair racing. I guess old school racing is officially dead now.

lol i remember when a guy asked for almost 20 lengths, now thats stupid.lol. but yeah i hope they dont bring the show back cause its rediculous how they didnt even screen the cars coming in because of one being like a freaking 8 second car against a 16 sec car.
