The wheels are ugly IMO, but the numbers are impressive. My friend has an SS SC and it's pretty quick. I bet the SS TC is blazing quick.

Take very well to mods and there's already tons of aftermarket support out there for the cars. They suck for handeling, but excel in their class in all other aspects.
Go read cobaltss.net for more info. There's TONS of information to be had there.
and Trinity, GM's broke... along with the other big 3 car companies. That's probably the best move they've done thus far. Cut out production in cars they're having troubles with selling and cost a decent amount.
I laugh the day the American car makers go out of business. Teach them to build nothing but SUV's and ugly ass over-priced cars that don't last worth a damn.

I don't believe that. I think it did the "ring" in a great time... Isn't the rear suspension in the turbo different than the SS/SC?Opi wrote:237whp

Heres a summit white one. 4 door. Looks like a damn Neon from the rear!

I have a Cobalt SS NA and noticed that it does feel some cheapness to its interior. Lots and lots of plastic goodness... It does makes up with the seats and dash layout though.
I also would say that the Neon has a better sound of solid "thud" when you close the doors. The Cobalt doors make a thud sound like the Ford Focus doors. Kinda like a sardine can lol.
Overall though the Cobalt is a great car for the price and performance. I wish a 2gn car had a 2 door version.

2006 Cobalt SS 2.4. Completely stock.
So they come with those shitty taillights? Or is that white sedan above not the SSTC? I much prefer the skyline style round lights from the previous SS.
And I too heard that the SSTC is quick at Nurburgring. Apparently the suspension was reengineered for racing, and is worlds better than the old SS setup. The old SS felt heavy and tall when cornering, IMO. It lacked nimbleness like the Neon has. The SS was also a bit too luxurious for me, which probably had a lot to do with the increased weight. The coupe is longer AND taller than a 4 door Neon, and a bit narrower as well, which is silly IMO. A sports car should be flat, wide, and as short as possible to cut down on weight and BS.
