Well basically you take out the screws on each side of the dash top. Then the two screws that are in the middle vent on top of the dash. Pull the pillars off each side. Then pull your dash off. Pull off a couple screws under the steering wheel. then carefully pull the little plastic piece right underneath the cluster that somewhat covers it. On the cluster itself there are 4 screws total. Two on top two on bottom. Once you take those out the cluster comes right out. Take the SRT one and slide it right in, because it's a direct fit(no wiring). Put all the screws and plastic pieces back in. Consume beer for job well done. Enjoy your new cluster.

I believe that's it, correct me if I'm wrong I haven't pulled my dash apart in a couple months.

The tach will work automatically. It comes from the computer. You don't need to wire anything.
