If you're going to do underglow lights, get large ones. I got a kit for a truck and it fits nicely. IIRC It had 54" LED tubes for the sides, and 40" tubes for the front and back. Also have it professionally installed as well. Drilling through the firewall FTL.

It is kinda cool to have them when you're young to show off to your firends at night, but i've gotten tired of how temperamental mine have become.

...I wouldn't recommend getting them.

Don't get a sound system. Our cars are slow enough without 1000 lbs of extra weight in the trunk. You'll also need that trunk to carry things later on.

Mirrors on the underside of the hood? to reflect heat? are you kidding me? I like the thought, but DON'T DO IT!

yeah seriously guys... i switched to this forum cuz its more about show cars then performance cars like srtforums... but you guys just dont even know what your talking about lol...yes its my dd yes its my first car..but who cares its my project

You don't seem to know the first thing you're talking about. Seriously, take the time to talk to some of these people that have show cars... They're SPENDING the big bucks... not making them. Dude, I'll bet no one would have said anything remotely accusatory had you not started it! You just show up here with your immature attitude saying nobody here has any idea what they're doing, and you will one up them. Grow up and quit trying to act like you know it all. What metal? Check out laidneon, thats one of my favorites. Or Sullygully. What do you consider a Show car?? Dont start shopping for parts for a show car at an auto parts store. Get some magazines, surf the net, and get some good ideas. Your in Florida I am sure that there are car shows going on see what is winning. I am sure the winner doesnt have his last name on their car. You want to build a car that will get you noticed without having your name plastered all over it. Your not Chip Foose yet! We will help you just need to chill on the attitude and take things lightly! Throw out some ideas just know that a lot of people wont like it but who cares its yours.

i tihnk what started everything off was the way you announced your plan. Simply starting off with "im gunna do this, this, this, this, and this, and then some of this" that introduction seems a little know-it-all. second, with the items listed r car would be an srt clone with no performance to back it up. ( not sure of your long term plans but just with the mods listed there were no performance mods) as far as seeing nicer then the cars listed, in florida at least lexeon places damn high and took best domestic 4 door at HIN miami last year (not sure what the exact award was). As far as winning "tons of money" the only money award ive seen is from smaller shows in their "best of show" category and the cars that win that award are typically people that have spent thousands of dollars and years of their time to create works of art tat hardly see any roadtime. My advice take it slow step by step and know what your getting yourself into.

I came here with that attitude. The attitude of wanting to buy everything and do everything to my car.

This shit takes time and money man... expect your car to take YEARS to finish. its been 1 year and I have progressed to what I have in my pic post.

Dont come in here with the attitude you do. what you SHOULD have done was ask questions and take what we have to say and put it to use. they are flaming the shit outa you right now cuz your talking like you are. theres alot of ppl on this site that know more than you and me combined. so do what i do and sit down and shut up and listen to them.'

also.

Take it slow. Mirrors are a bad idea just because its to out there IMO. its your car tho. do what you want. but us mopar guys (and gals of course) as far as ive seen tend to stick to a tradition of sorts. its american for a reason. its not import at all. so do it right. and do it slow. (awaiting quotes of that last part.) lol

and good point...i guess i shouldnt of come in here how i did but i can assure you i wasnt trying to sound like a know it all and im sorry for sounding like that i was just wanting everyones oppinion on my ideas...i like the whole "pipe" theme cuz thats what ive always been known as since its my last name and its my daily driver so when im driving around town everyone will know who i am lol. but i can see what you mean about it...but then again i would think that people would like it cuz its a theme...my sister does the whole playboy theme and everyone seems to like it lol she even had a cop pull her over just cuz they wanted to look at her car cuz they were talking about it with other cops lol

(all the pink is a custom pink btw)
1 12 inch sub with..400 watts i think she said...
ummm idk ill as her next time i see her and get a actual list but she hasnt done much performance...i think she got srt4 exhaust though

Your sister's car looks good. I'm surprised I haven't seen it before. I would remember something like that. How long has she been working on it? And has she SRT swapped it yet?

Also, I may have missed it if you answered it already, but is your car an ATX or MTX?

It takes time and money to get your car where you want it. I'm really just starting out, and I've had my car for almost 4 years now.

When I started out though, I knew nothing. But thanks to this forum, I know a lot more than I did and I'm still constantly learning.

Right now, I have a big suspension and brake setup planned for my car, but it's going to take me a while to get it done cause I don't have the funds. But I'm going to be working on a it a little at a time getting things when I can afford them. Once I get everything I want, I'm going to spend a weekend and get it all on the car or get a cheap first gen to drive while I get everything done.

You have to have a plan man. You really just can't go gung ho. Look at other setups, get and idea of what you want to accomplish, then work on it a little at a time.
