How to use my left over silverstone...

Post by gopherfan2011 » Sun Mar 01, 2009 6:13 pm

I have a silverstone rim that has a crack in it so its unusable. I was thinking of trying to make it into some sort of table? Any other ideas for uses? I just don't want to throw it away, they are just too cool.

You could make it into a clock....or a stool...or a sweet cereal bowl...or just hang it up.

That's all that comes to mind right now.

OR cut it into very small pieces and build a bird sculpture out of it.

OR give it to a homeless person.

OR wear it as a helmet.

OR keep it as a pet.

OR turn it into a very large yo-yo.

OR ...

Bolt it to the side of your house and wrap/hang the garden hose from it.

Or if you have a garage with an air compressor, use it for the air hose!

Sorry it was in the wrong topic, my bad. The garden hose was a great idea! The neighborhood might not like that tho....lol. It's not really the crack thats the problem, the outer rim is curb rashed and bent in, its quite noticeable.

I didn't think of the air hose part, I like it. I saw the garden hose thing in a car magazine a month or so ago.

I also like the clock idea. I think I'm going to do this when I get my shed up.

My old cracked rim became a footstool in my school apartment. It also became a weight for cross training exercises w/the usless BFG tire it was a nice 45LB weight.
