Hey guys new here to the forums but not new to the neon world. I bought a 95 neon sport off a kid a few months back. said he was a member of the neons.org community and did come work to it. ANYWAYS! i have recently picked up a 00 neon LE from the next city over. Here r the specs:

2000 Neon LE
Manual Tranny
150,000kms
Power W/L/M
4 disk CD changer
No ABS

That is how its sits as of now. I have a lil tune up and some work to be done to it this weekend that includes the following:

-oil change (Royal Purple)
-Trany Oil change (Royal Purple)
-Oil Filter (KnN)
-Air Filter (NAPA)
-Spark Plugs (NGK Coppers)
-Fule System Clean (TKO 2000)
-Rad Flush (gunk)
-Rad Fill (Mopar Fluid + Royal Purple Addative)
-Engine Flush (Seafoam)
-Badge n Side Molding Removal (Fishing Line + Goo Gone)

Also got a Compustar Command Start and Security in the mail.

More to come keep u guys posted.
Also the 95 is my project car for my son. Im gonna be building him a 2.4 neon for when he hits 16 (he is 5 months) so i got time lol. Info on neons.org. User Name GWings.

16 years from now, do you really think you'd still have that neon for your son to drive around?

i guarantee it...the 95 is staying in the garadge till the big day.....aside from me testing out the 2.4 that is lol.

just replaced the key cylinder today and the MFS a few days back. Had no fogs and the key was a ass to turn. Replaced the wipers and next up is sum touch up paint on sum chips then in the next month or 2 headlights and new speakers. got a lil big plans for this car...not go fast parts just a lil eye candy to look at. Not rice... Also this Saturday its getting a full professional detail of the outside and in. Also bought a $300CAN paint, dash and upholstery protectant.

Of course its not all the same product all have 3 different bottles. Brand is called Diamond Kote. Also thinking of getting a cote of the Diamond Kote undercoating sprayed on to the car haven't decided yet. you can check out the 3 i got there paint protection, fabric protect, and leather/vinyl. Glad to see the mfs fixed your fog problem! Thumbs up on the under coating. That's the first thing I'm doing to future cars.

Here is what i got lined up for it in the future from first the last:

-Black Projectors with HID
-Yellow Fogs
-Cuda Stripes
-VHT Nigh Shade rear tails, 3rd brake and side signals
-New speakers
-Seat Covers
-Paint Rims Cameleon
-Tint Windows
-CAI
-Exhaust

More when i think abotut it in the future! But thouse r the things i will be getting FOR SHUR!!!!

well today i got the tune up done. N i have to say to ppl that dont think Royal Purple dont make a difference. IT DOES! My engine is sooo much quieter now, sumtimes i dont even think its on. As for the tranny...shifting is MUCH smoother.

All i got done today was the tune up and the inside detailed. along with the badges removed. I got the side moldings off but turned out there is a lil but o paint peel under them so i put them back on. Srry no pics yet though.

hey guys been a while but not much has happend too. so far i removed my factory speakers and replaced them with sum alapine type s speakers...here is a lil pic.

i also got some stuff to re-do my suspension and brakes comming in to. some of wich shud be in tomorrow!!!! Here is a list of what i have on order:
-new 3.5 speakers
-4 new springtec struts
-2 new rotors n pads
-window deflectors
-cold air intake
-ball joints, tie rods, sway bar links
-prothane control arm bushings(heard these r very common to break on these new neons)

next up on my list is a new deck cuz the one that is in there......SUCKS! ill post some pics of the mechindise tomorrow!!!

WELL today i got 5 boxes from UPS!!!! They consist of!
-Windows gaurds
-CAI
-Struts
-Balljoints, tie rods, link bushings
-Rotors and pads

Today i installed my CAI and window gaurds here r some bad pics lol...

also my neighbor has this sunbird 2.0 turbo MTX for sale hese asking 1,000 but it needs a tranny. ITS SUPPOSE to have a rebuild engine i doubt it though...

Ill post up more when i get the suspension re done.....
