quick pic of car w/ see through hood and painted lip

Well...last year i scraped my kaminari cf front lip pulling out of a spot..........i hated the idea of buying a new one ($$$) I decided to get it fixed and painted....it sort of incorporates the new evo style painting srt guys are doing alot and i love. (crosshairs and section under lip painted black ...in my case...cf)

also i got my hood (both sides)...and roof painted......

my trunk w/ wing is getting recleared along w/ my vortex generator .......
and my weatherstripping is being painted black.....o yea...and he's fixing a scratch....o yea lol...and my calipers are being done eblue...

and if that isn't enough.....my wheels (19's)....are being panited black w/ a blue lip.......(includes dismount and remount of tires)

700 bucks....nice deal or what?? ps...graphix are coming off....

ps..please excuse the dirtiness of the car...it was last washed sometime last fall lol

edit: ...wheels are being done this week.....might i add the roof and hood is painted to match my cf parts...so its like a metallic dark gray (he said its based on a mercedes color w/ yellow and other stuff mixed)...it looks pretty damn good in person...

and sorry about pic quality...taken on my iphone.......i hope to do a photoshoot in a week or so

Yes, usually called a "preforated" hood made by Grip Tuning

huh???? of course it's see thru....its a GRIP hood...only like 25 ever made...its stainless steel......is only a tad bit heavier than my cf hood i had.......but its awesome....specially at night when i turn on the neons in the engine bay

How well does the hood deal with weather? You live in Jersey. Do you drive it in the snow? rain?

yes i'm in jersey....when this hood came out i wanted it but being it was a daily driver i stuck w/ a cf hood......now i got a beater so when someone was looking to get rid of one for an amazing price i was quick to pull the trigger.......

as for weather.....i have a car cover...but do plan on driving it alot being i hate my pos dd......it will rain through the hood...but not alot....its more of a hassle to have to clean my bay alot more really than anything else.....but i think its worth it......

ps...my engine bay never gets hot lol....it stays like 140-160 at all times...its amazing....

It's funny how no one seemed to want one of those hoods while they were being made, but as soon as they stopped production, everyone had to have one of the remaining few. Funny how that works.

If I had an engine bay that looked as good as yours I would be sportin that hood too!

Like you said, will be PITA when it rains. You should get some sort of custom hood cover for it.
