Airbag Delete Panel

Since so many of us are wanting one of these,..I actually looked into these today at Dodge, SV74XDVAA is the number for dark slate $36.85 list price and it takes like 3days to get.. No shipping price involved because Dodge gets parts shipments constantly, just place order, pay up front, and they even call when it arrives! Now that's service!

Just remember, the airbag delete does not shut off the airbag light,

everytime i see that i wanna change it....but man if i ever did get into an accident or something that would suck for the passenger

how much are the air bags worth if you sell them?

i sold my drivers side one for $100

they wouldnt take the passenger side one when i went back with that one...DONT sell it on ebay though....they go for like $30 there, when you could easily get $100 if you hold off

they sell a resistor for the drivers side, i know that much. they had it as an option when i bought my hub adapter for my sparco steering wheel on www.bdjsracing.com

Seriously. I have tuned mine out for about a year now. Its like the seatbelt light....

so you don't wear your seat belt? i would imagine it not passing inspection with the air bag light on huh

here in NYS, even if your airbag light is on...your PCM will know that and as soon as your car is plugged in for the NYS inspection, you fail...

The use of a a 2ohm resistor can be used to turn off the light and make the SRS module think the unit is still there.

bdjsracing.com sells that resistor for like $20 i think as a fix. but a few people on srtforums have revealed what it is

It's actually a 2.2k ohm resistor and I radio shack may not have them so you'll probably have to hitup a hardcore electorics store. I know of one here in town, if I ever get off work in time I'll have to drive over and pick some up.

I actually wanted this for my buddy with his 03 SRT let alone I wanted the answer before I sold my delete panel......

no, as long as you assume risk, its a added feature. If a car doesn't have a airbag and is sold saying it has one, thats a Federal violation.

I could be wrong but from what ive been told, while in autobody repair school, there is nothing illegal if its been done by a pro, ie a master mechanic.
