steering wheel change???

ok i cant remeber who it was so i just ask how many people have changed to a after market steering wheel with no air bag? has anyone had any problems with inspection and the fact that there is no air bag?

i never went through an inspection with mine, but as long as you dont get rid of the stock wheel... changing them is not a long process ;)

x2 for me i don't wear a seat belt that much so it would be nice to not smash my face off the stearing wheel lol plus i don't wanna loose my cruise controll

I wouldn't have stated that over a public forum... It just an aweful idea to take the oem steering wheel away, taking away safety features from an already marginal car is just asking to be killed in an accident.

yeah i didn't take away any safety features as i clearly wrote i like having my stearing wheel and air bag oh and the cruise control

You will just eat windshield instead. Even with a lap belt. I know, not by choice. Rear impact first makes seat back and shoulder belt worthless. My head hit the windshield three times. Nothing more exciting than ditch tag @85 mph!

So? It's still a terrible idea. I don't understand why people won't wear a seatbelt. Is it just too uncool, or is the 2 seconds it takes to put it on too much bother? Whatever, it's your life.
