95 sohc

so was at a j/y yester day i think i found a 95 sohc if im right the vin would be an s for 95 right ?

i dont have any $ for a omp or crane so i know the 95 will gie me a few more hp than my stock , so im i looking at no more than 5hp im getting for $20 then im going to lean up my head ,intake manifold and exhaust?

95 cam is more like 3HP over stock. What do you mean with the rest of your sentence, not to be rude, but I can't quite follow it.

Not sure on the IM and Mag header. The head could be massaged a little to get a 5 hp increase with the cam.

IDK what the VIN letter is for the engines in the 1gn's. I assumed it was 8th didgit "C" and whatever DOHC is. But then I never really had a reson to research it.

I'm pretty sure the engine vin is the same for the SOHC, C.

However there is a different digit, 6th maybe that tells the year of the car.

yes i did mean clean the intake,head and exhaust ports/gasket matched
