alignment question

Have some questions about how to achive better handling and stopping power using different springs, upgrading to coilovers, questions on swaybars, bushings, different rotors, pads, ect... Having any steering problems or questions about steering racks, tie rods, tie rod ends, ect... ask these questions here.

alignment question

so i needed some camber bolts to adjust my camber on my right rear wheel. ok i got some from the dealership.they game me the smaller bolt kind. so what im asking is what part is actually the one being moved. like is the strut being moved then u tighten the bolt.( with the smaller ones in it) ??

no but see they didnt give me that kind of bolt. they game me the kind that is just smaller bolt but it doesnt look like that.

With the smaller diameter bolt it lets the knucle pivot in the strut yoke. Basically both are moving to some degree. Letting the hub/knucle assy move in or out.

yes, it is the same . the smaller bolt goes into the upper bolt location on the lower strut. they loosen the lower one a bit and pull the strut back or forward according to the reading. then you tighten everything down ...similar to the video above ...
