Can this be fixed or do I need a new bumper

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

Can this be fixed or do I need a new bumper

Well I knew this was going to need fixing or replacing eventually so I need your opinions now on what to do. The previous owner did this ghetto repair job, not me. I have taken the bumper to local collision shops to get estimates on repair and paint and the best one seems to be for about 400-500 dollars including the paint and repair. So is this worth even getting fixed or will it just break again? There is a shop that has a plastic welder which I might go to to get a more permanent fix. I just don't want to spend all that money just to have it break again and have the paint crack and shit. Help me out here with ideas, suggestions, opinions, etc. Thanks

Mike

Yeah I don't see why you wouldn't be able to repair it. I've seen people repair worse.

What is the best type of repair in order to make sure it lasts as long as possible? Im thinking plastic weld, rather than bondo or anything but I have no clue
