That's the problem. It's not very epic. A paperwork mixup made my license suspend. I go back in to court on the 23rd to have them fix it, and then all charges get dropped.

I got arrested for the same reason before i got deployed. Had to call my boss to have him come get me out of jail. Single most embarrassing day of my life. I sat there in cuffs for like 30 minutes at the front of one of the gates to FT. Campbell before they told me why.

I didn't get arrested, but pulled over and told that my license was expired and I was driving without a valid license. Had to have a buddy come out and pick me up. The thing that pissed me off most was that it was the week after we got back from Afghanistan and I know damn well that there's some rule that says you have a certain amount of time to renew licenses or get it taken care of (in the case of my state, I just had to fax them a copy of my military ID and they reactivated my license).
