I know the stock set up from an srt will raise my car. Now if I put srt struts with lowering springs, will it only lower it alittle, and not the full drop of the springs?

I think it depends on if you get srt4 or base model lowering springs, although I'm not positive on that. I'm curious to know the answer to this as well.

I was told that if you got springs for your ES/SE/SXT and put them on Tokico struts (SRT struts) you will lose about an inch drop

Example: ES/SE/SXT springs w/ 1.5 inch drop will only be .5 inch drop on Tokicos/SRT struts.

SRT lowering springs will give you the same drop as spec'd.

I think that we are missing some info here....the srt is higher than the neon because it rides on bigger tires. so the ride hight is taller so to speak ..... the strut perch is higher but the strut length (the complete strut ) should be the same. the strut stroke on the srt is shorter becasue of the higher perch but similar overall height...technically both cars have the same frame, so it does not make sense that the srt rides higher because it has taller struts..they simply would not fit in the frame, if they did, the angle of the axles and contorl arms would be less than optimal...

and to prove my point, when you install srt spring on your neon struts, you lower your car half an inch roughly, which is nearly the difference in spring perches .

does this make sense ? so a spring that lowers a neon one inch, should lower the srt 1 inch ...the other things that make a difference are spring thickness which is higher on srt, therefor a lighter car (neon) will make the spring compress less........

fact : srt and neon eibachs are the same kit number. vehicle weight makes a difference in the drop.....

this proves what i am saying ....

confusing isn't it?
